You will provide your logo, branding colors, images and copy/content. If you are finding your own images and writing your own content, I will provide you with some helpful advice to get that process completed before your project start date.

  • Squarespace is an awesome tool that provides an excellent and easy-to-use foundation for a website that you can maintain yourself. They provide fantastic help sections and customer service plus the platform allows for a truly beautiful design (without needing to understand the nuts and bolts of coding). Squarespace offers ecommerce, blogging, SEO, analytics, member areas, marketing tools, support for third-party extensions and so much more!

  • If you’ve already purchased your domain name, I can connect it to your new website. The process is different depending on what company you registered your domain name with. We can discuss this in our Strategy Session. If you haven’t purchased a domain name, we can do this together through Squarespace.

  • Yes, upon booking your project, I send a Welcome Packet that includes copywriting tips for websites.

  • After signing the contract, every project is assigned a start date and a completion date. Most projects can be completed within one to three weeks of the start date.

  • Squarespace offers Personal, Business and Commerce plans. Most websites that I design utilize a Business plan. Please visit SQUARESPACE PRICING for up-to-date pricing.

  • 50% is due when you sign the contract and 50% upon completion of your project.

  • Professional brand photography can elevate the look of your website. Or, it might be a crucial element to accurately display products you are selling. However, stock photography (photos that you download for free or pay a small licensing fee for) is a cost-effective way that you can boost the look and feel of your website. While I don’t offer any professional photography services, I can advise you on obtaining a professional photo shoot. Or, I can include a stock photo option in your custom quote.

  • I don’t offer a standard maintenance plan because my intention is to provide you with a website that you can maintain yourself. If you need assistance, I can provide help at an hourly rate.

  • Upon completion of your project, I will create an “education” page within your website where I will post custom tutorials on how to update your website. I will include links to helpful information about updating your payment method, etc. If you need more help, you have a complimentary post-launch support window. I am also available at an hourly rate, should you need anything additional.

  • Squarespace is an all-in-one website creation tool and a hosting company. The best part about Squarespace is that you can create a custom website without any coding knowledge or backend development. That being said, once you’ve designed and created your website on the Squarespace platform, you can’t “migrate” your site to a different hosting company. Designing a Squarespace website means you must work within the limitations of the platform, however those limitations allow for a completely custom and amazing website.
